Missions

 Choir is starting back on September the 8th right after church in the choir room.
October 6 Sunday 3:00pm-6:00pm individuals with cars that are from yester years will be here. We will have music, food and fellowship as we review many cars from our community. Many thanks to Tony Hager for the inspiration.
We will be in the process of ordering our Christmas boxes for November. We have become a pick up point in Salisbury along with St John and LifeChurch. So we will furnish personnel to help other churches with their boxes and have them fill a very brief statement of where those boxes came from. Such as church name and church address. Then we will carry to Concord to the drop off point where they will be examined and sealed. Exciting times for our little church who has a BIG powerful God, huh?
Then in October we will resume “the Porch” and everyone is welcome to show their love and witness for Christ.

Thank you

I knelt to pray when day was done,
And prayed, O Lord, bless everyone;
Lift from each saddened heart the pain,
And let the sick be well again.”

And then I woke another day
And carelessly I went on my way.
The whole day long I did not try
To wipe a tear from any eye;

I did not try to share the load
Of any brother on my road;
I did not even go to see
The sick man just next door to me.

Yet once again when day was done
I prayed, “O Lord, bless everyone.”
But as I prayed, into my ear
There came a voice that whispered clear:

“Pause, hypocrite, before you pray;
Whom have you tried to bless today?
God’ sweet blessings always go
By hands that serve Him here below.”

And then I hid my face and cried,
“Forgive me, Lord, for I have lied;
Let me but see another day
And I will live the way I pray.””
